Acacia’s all-time favourite pose is ‘Gomukhasana’ which is a beautiful pose to keep us open and celebrate life. Its beneficial for tension release, anxiety, and tiredness. It strips away general tightness and is great for sore lower backs. It is one of the most popular sitting postures as for many of us we find ourselves slouched over a desk, writing or using a computer. Its perfect after a long road trip, especially for those stuck in Sydney traffic… Is anyone with us!!
Did you know it’s also known as ‘cow face’ pose because the lower limbs resemble the face of the cow if you look at this asana from behind ?
